Residential development

Residential development

Since 1997, we have created over 9,000 new homes in Prague with over 20,000 residents. Residential projects with an emphasis on energy and water conservation, certified materials, conservation, and community building. We are helping to create a new culture of living in blue-green neighborhoods. We promote innovative technologies. We build housing for those who want to be prepared for the future.

We take a sustainable approach to energy, water, materials, people, and nature

We help create a culture of living in blue-green neighborhoods. We promote innovative technologies. We build housing for those who want to be prepared for the future.

We were the first in the Czech Republic to commit to designing and building sustainable housing according to the international BREEAM certification with the aim of supporting the health of residents, neighborhoods, and the planet. In addition to guaranteed quality, our goal is to minimize the environmental impact of new housing and to have a zero carbon footprint by 2045. We are therefore investing heavily in new materials from proven sources, innovative construction methods, and cost-effective and sustainable solutions.

At Skanska, we are convinced that the role of the developer is to create an environment in which to live culturally and educate new generations. We, therefore, build the whole, not just apartment buildings. Such an integrated element can then fully complement the neighborhood and become a new and important part of the city.

Home cultures

We are determined to define a new home cultures in the Czech Republic. We are responsible for ensuring that we do not build solitaires around us, but projects that fit in with the original environment, houses that respect nature and the needs of the old inhabitants, and that have added value for their inhabitants and their surroundings.
