Skanska Commercial Development, which has been operating on the Czech real estate market for more than 25 years, is a subsidiary of the Swedish group, Skanska Commercial Development Europe (CDE).
In the Czech Republic, we have been involved in office building development, and our latest project, Port7, is to usher us also into the mixed-use
(i.e. multi-functional) segment of development projects.

We create top class workplaces

We stand for the high quality of our projects from the architectural, technical, and property management point of view. We were the first in the Czech Republic to obtain an international WELL certification for administrative buildings (Visionary 2018, Praga Studios 2019) which evaluates their interior from the perspective of health and well-being of its users. We have the newest premises in Parkview building (2020) certified by WELL Health & Safety rating. We are proud to say that our buildings are safe and supporting the users´ health.

We are environmentally friendly

We are pioneering sustainable development. Our company was the first in the Czech Republic to launch complex green commercial office building projects (City Green Court 2012 obtained LEED Core & Shell and also LEED for Interiors). Since then, we have built all of our buildings in the highest international LEED environmental certification, according to which, thanks to the materials and technologies used, the total energy and water savings are close to 50%. Apart from that, we are also preparing our first climate-neutral project in Radlice, whose construction commencement is scheduled to 2023.

We embrace real estate innovation

We at Skanska have developed a unique smart building solution called Connected by Skanska to facilitate the daily use of our buildings for the tenants as well as their guests. One of the most integrated platforms for office buildings links together not only smart technologies but more importantly people with their workplace. The software includes a mobile application for everyday users and a web portal for tenants and building administration. A smartphone application Connected by Skanska will admit you into an underground parking lot, find a place, unlock your office with a virtual card installed on your mobile phone, or even book a terrace venue for an evening business event. Connected by Skanska enables contactless mobility throughout the office building.

We support alternative modes of transport

Our projects are built in easily-accessible central locations within a comfortable reach by the Prague metro. We also support cyclists and electromobility. Underground car parking in our buildings includes a well-equipped facility for cyclists with showers, convenient cabinets to store cycling equipment, and basic bike repair tools, as well as a free-of-charge towel service. There are public electric car charging stations installed next to the three of our office buildings. The chargers close to Visionary and Corso Court buildings are one of the most widely-used ones in Prague (and the whole of the Czech Republic) in the long run.

We are a good neighbour

We see our development projects in the urban context and work with local municipalities to bring something extra to an existing environment. Therefore, shops and services, which are missing in a certain location, are included in our office projects. We pay great attention to landscaping around our projects. We have built several sports facilities for children and adults, and in cooperation with the municipal district authority, a kindergarten in the Visionary office building.
