Skanska's City Green Court reaches 95% occupancy

Press release 5/4/2012 10:00 AM CET

With still a few weeks to go before completion, Skanska's City Green Court project in Prague's Pankrác district is already 95 percent leased. Skanska Reality has signed a lease agreement on exclusive commercial premises at one of the most environmentally efficient office buildings in the capital.

Skanska Reality will occupy approximately 850 sqm. Its new showroom will now accommodate both Skanska's own in-house Real Estate Agency and Client Centre, which handles all customer needs.

Starting this November, Skanska clients will find everything in one place, just a short walk from the Pankrác metro station.

"We had been looking for a high-quality place close to the metro station; a place which we would like to call a 'client's boutique', so City Green Court was a logical choice for us,” says Naděžda Ptáčková, Director of Sales & Marketing for Skanska Reality. "Now our clients will be able to find all their needs in one spot, from that first contact with the real estate agent and mortgage consultant to a client centre and warranty service.”

Ptáčková adds: "The client centre will also offer personalised interior design consultation services.

The client will walk through a Skanska concept flat and immediately feel like they're at their own place. Together with our employees, clients will be able to find the best option for their new home.”

Alexandra Tomášková, Leasing Manager for Skanska Property Czech Republic, comments: "We are pleased that we could offer these commercial premises to our sister company Skanska Reality. Their showroom perfectly complements the existing tenant mix, which now consists of our own Skanska Property office, new headquarters for PwC and the pharmaceutical company GSK. We believe that we will soon find a tenant who will appreciate the quality and advantages of this unique office building to lease the last available 570 sqm unit. We are now in negotiations for a ground floor restaurant, which will provide service to all our tenants.”

Completion of the Green City Court project is planned for the second quarter of 2012. The building will welcome all its tenants before the end of this year.
