Business and art, that is how the Praga Studios motto sounds. A new-build, following the industrial tradition of Prague's Karlín district, has an atrium at its center suitable for artistic exhibitions (concerts, theatre performances etc..) intended for use by both tenants and residents of Karlín. The atrium has a permanent orange piano that can be played by tenants and visitors to the building.
When Praga Studios was built, priority was given to materials from local sources, partially recycled, and with a small carbon footprint in transport. Nearly 50% of energy and more than 40% of water is saved by LEED certification requirements. Glass facade offers maximum sunlight to more than 75% of work stations. The roof terrace offers stunning views of the Prague panorama.
The building also offers great accessibility. In addition to individual car transport, is possible to use Prague’s public transportation (Křižíkova metro station and several tram stations within a walk distance), e-car (two chargings stations were installed in the neighbor Corso Court building) or bikes (can be stored in a bike room with a repair stand which offers all necessary equipment for minor repairs. Showers and lockers with free towel service are obvious.
