ČSOB Group has approximately 3 million clients and is one of the top lenders in the Czech Republic. It is part of Belgian KBC. ČSOB's financial clients are involved in many market sectors, from retail and SME to corporate and institutional organizations.

Marie Passburg, President of Skanska Property Czech Republic, comments: “We are very happy to welcome ČSOB as our tenant at Balabenka. Having built ČSOB headquarters in Radlice, we are thus continuing our partnership and cooperation.”

Commenting on the lease of the new office space, Petra Prošková, Director of Distribution Back Office department, CSOB, said: “We were looking for a location for a back office function. Due to accessibility and its position on the metro B line, and thanks to its high quality, Balabenka meets our requirements. It has unique architecture, and what’s more it is in an attractive upcoming location. The building also offers an excellent quality-price ratio which was another important factor for us."

Marie Passburg adds: “With the ČSOB lease, Balabenka is 70 percent leased proving that the building and the location is a good option for highly coveted tenants.”

Balabenka is located on the border of Prague 8 and Prague 9, a fast developing part of the city. With its unique design, Balabenka offers flexible and bright office space. The complex is surrounded by a park, which provides a green barrier that protects Balabenka from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan life. There is a wide range of services and amenities within walking distance of the building, including the Harfa shopping centre and O2 Arena.

The six-storey building provides 13,000 sq m ofmodern and flexible office/retail space. The largest floor currently available in the building covers an area of approximately 1,520 sq m. Each of the floors can be divided into several separate units with separate entrances.
