Skanska provided construction services for the re-imagining of the Arizona Center an entertainment and retail destination located in downtown Phoenix. The project transformed the existing introverted design to open the complex to the surrounding streets and neighborhood and create a vibrant sense of place. Renovations to the Class-A 16-acre mixed-use campus incorporated new shade structures landscaping pavers and lighting to create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. Upgrades to the exterior finishes included metal panels glazing stucco paint concrete and signage to help establish a revitalized brand identity for the mall. Our work also included mechanical electrical structural steel miscellaneous metals elevators and fire sprinklers. Skanska planned all construction activities to ensure current tenants remained open during the project.
