Business units

Each business unit has its system of management for sustainable development which respects its specific conditions. Often it is the matrix structure of the organisation.

With the aim of the effective flow of policies and instructions between business units and management for sustainable development of Skanska AB, there are several groups which should simplify the implementation of Skanska sustainable development:

Skanska Safety Performance Network – was founded in 2006 in order to help and manage. It comprises of most of the senior safety managers of all business units and also the members of management for sustainable development of Skanska AB. It meets twice a year.

Skanska Environmental Performance Network – was founded in 2006 in order to help and manage. It comprises of most of the senior environmental managers of all business units and also the members of management for sustainable development of Skanska AB. It meets twice a year.

Business Ethics Network – was founded in 2006 in order to help and manage. It comprises of six influential line managers from six business units and also the Skanska Swedish ethical group and the members of management for sustainable development of Skanska AB.
