Residential Development

This division of Skanska specializes in residential and commercial development projects, real estate sales and PPP projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

We have been an active participant in this part of the Czech economy since 1999; and today, it offers its customers its years of experience, good knowledge of the local economic environment and the strong financial backing of a multinational parent entity.

In the area of residential development, the division’s task is to identify and acquire land, which can then be used as a site for one of the company’s development projects. In total, the division has successfully completed close to thirty residential developments with a total 4,000 units. The subsequent marketing and sale of the units is an important part of this division’s area of responsibility.

In the area of commercial development and through the use of the standard design-build concept, the division specializes in the construction of B-grade and above office buildings and retail centers, combined administration and manufacturing facilities, technology parks and warehousing, distribution and service centers,

In the future, the division plans to expand its activities into other major cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Residential Development Division has partnered with the country’s leading financial institutions in order to be able to offer financing solutions and assistance to buyers of its real estate development projects.
